Financial Aid

Important Financial Aid Notices

  • The State legislature is in special session, causing delay to state financial aid awards. As of now, the Washington state legislature is still in session and deciding on a state bill that, if passed, will impact state and institutional financial aid. Because of this delay, many financial aid administrators have delayed making state financial aid awards to students. At Everett Community College, we cannot delay awarding any longer. As we are awarding, please read your portal carefully. Any state awards shown as "OFFERED" are conditional, subject to change, AND will not be released until the results of this legislative session are known.  We understand the inconvenience this may cause EvCC students. However, it is unavoidable under the current circumstances. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Please contact the Financial Aid Office with any questions or concerns.

  • SUMMER 2015: The first day of class for summer is June 29, 2015. Financial aid will first be available July 2, 2015 through the pre-paid EVCC Card. Transfers to your bank account and checks takes a few business days. Please plan ahead to have your books and supplies on the first day of class.

  • NOW: The Financial Aid Office is currently reviewing files for students who met the summer deadline. We anticipate that these students will be either awarded or denied before summer quarter begins.
