Welcome to Everett Community College
Conveniently located to serve Snohomish and Island County residents, Everett Community College's main campus is in North Everett, two blocks west of North Broadway Avenue between 10th and Tower Streets, about 30 miles north of Seattle. The campus is situated in a quiet neighborhood overlooking Legion Memorial Golf Course in north Everett. Magnificent views of the Cascade Mountain Range can be seen from campus; the Puget Sound, Port Gardner Bay, and Naval Station Everett are a few city blocks west of the main campus.
The college also operates the Aviation Maintenance Technical School at Paine Field, the Applied Technology Training Center in south Everett, and a School of Cosmetology in Marysville. College classes are also taught at the University Center of North Puget Sound in downtown Everett, in Monroe at Monroe High and Junior High Schools, and through an expanding distance-learning network. The college’s Fitness and Sports Center is located three blocks south of the main campus.
Everett Community College is funded and governed by the State of Washington. The primary goals of the educational program are to prepare students in the College's service area to transfer to 4-year institutions, to provide skills-related training to those preparing to enter the workforce or update work-related skills, and to offer community interest and community service courses. Today, College programs are highly evolved, state-of-the-art, and serve an ever-widening constituency. Over 8,000 students contribute to a diverse campus life, many times balancing learning, job, and family in the process.
