Open Mic June 2

Join Writing Club for an Open Mic! This event is open to all, including EvCC students, staff, and the public. Come share your poems, stories, non-fiction, songs, and raps. This event is free.

Looking for a place to strengthen your writing? The Writing Club is a place for serious writers to convene for encouragement and critique. Writers of fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry are welcome. Writers meet weekly to write and promote awareness, understanding, and discussion of the various literary genres. Members are also involved in a variety of campus activities related to the literary arts.

Drive In Movie - Star Wars: The Force Awakens June 3
6:30pm

There has been an awakening and the force is strong with this one. Come and enjoy a fun, relaxing night of free entertainment presented by EvCC Student LIFE for the annual Drive-In Movie Night on Friday, June 3, 2016! EvCC will be screening Star Wars: The Force Awakens, one of the most anticipated movies of 2015, and a film for anyone who is drawn by the force. The parking lot opens at 6:30pm, so come early to get a good parking spot, sit back and relax. You can choose to watch the movie in your car or bring your own chair and watch the movie under the night sky. Please note walk-in guests, are encouraged to bring a chair to enjoy the movie as seating will not be provided.

Concessions, including fresh popcorn and beverages will be available while supplies last, so be sure to get snacks for the movie! Proceeds will benefit the EvCC Student Abroad Program trip to Indonesia. Bring a canned food donation to benefit the local food bank and get a FREE bag of popcorn.

The film will begin at 9:30pm in Parking Lots B&C to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens on a giant inflatable screen! Film audio will be available from your car radio as well as through outside speakers. The Drive-In Movie Night is sure to be an awesome event, so remember to mark your calendars!

All EvCC Students, Staff & Guests:
Outside food and beverage is permitted. This is a drug and alcohol free event. Everett Community College is a tobacco free campus. Space is limited. Early arrival is encouraged.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING SIMULATED WEAPONS, light sabers included.

Drive-Ins: One EvCC ID per vehicle is required in movie viewing Lots B&C. Guests without an EvCC ID may enter event as walk-ins only, as cars will not be permitted. 

Walk-ins: Bringing your own seating is encouraged as none will be provided at the event.
