The 1st Round of the NWAC's 2017 Playoffs starts on Wednesday, November 1st. The 2nd place teams of the North will host the 3rd place teams of the East. The 2nd place teams of the East will host the 3rd place teams of the North. The 1st place teams of both regions will have a 1st round bye. Teams and sites have yet to be determined!

Pursuing a degree in the Fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or Health Care? Earn up to $22,500 towards youth education! The Washington State Opportunity Scholarship fuels Washington's innovation economy by providing scholarships and career-launching support services to low and middle-income undergraduates pursuing science, technology, engineering, mathematics and health care degrees in the state. There will be an information table for more details of this opportunity that will be held on November 8th in Parks Student Union near the Student LIFE office from 8AM -PM. 

For eligibility, the applicant must:

1) have graduated from a HS in WA State or earned a GED in WA State
2) be pursuing their first bachelor’s degree in WA State
3) be low -to -middle income
4) have below 90 college credits at the time of application
5) be pursuing an eligible STEM or health care degree in WA State

This scholarship will be open on January 2, 2018

Men's Basketball at Bellevue College Jamboree - scrimmages

The Trojan Men's Basketball Team will be in Bellevue, WA on Saturday, November 11th on the campus of Bellevue College to participate in their Jamboree. The first game for the team will be at 9:00m vs the Green River CC Gators. On Saturday, November 11th, the Trojan Men's & Women's Cross Country Teams will participate in the 2017 NWAC Cross Country Championship Meets. The races will take place on the campus of Saint Martin's University in Lacey, WA. The Women's race will start at 11:00am, followed by the Men's race. Humanities Alliance: Cold War Spy Story

The Humanities Alliance is pleased to welcome author Peter MacDoran, a former NASA employee and retired faculty from CU Boulder. Mr. MacDoran will talk about his book, in which he describes how he helped smuggle classified information about weapons out of Soviet Russia during the Cold War. This event, which runs from 11:10am to 12:10pm, is free and open to the campus and the community. Reservations are not required. Classes are welcome!

They will then play either the Yakima Valley CC Yaks or the Lower Columbia College Red Devils on the 25th at either 3:00pm or 8:00pm.
