Everett Community College Honors grads present projects June 1 

EVERETT, Wash. – Everett Community College's 2017 honors program graduates will present their final projects and documentary filmmaker Christian Moran will speak at the college’s honors forum 5-7 p.m. June 1 at EvCC.

Everett Community College's 2017 honors program graduates will present their final projects and documentary filmmaker Christian Moran will speak at the college’s honors forum 5-7 p.m. June 1 at EvCC. The event is at EvCC’s Henry M. Jackson Center’s Wilderness room and is open to the public.  Honors program graduates include Mikayla Black, Patricia Douglas, Melanie Fischer, Nevada Heintz, Sage Herr, Erika Knapp, Jovanka Lazovic, Krystle Levin, Corinne McIntyre, Brooke Robbinson, Deborah Woods and Tsz Hin “Owen” Yip. This is the fifth year students have graduated from the program. EvCC started its honors program in fall 2011 to provide advanced academic challenges to students and enable students to stand out when they transfer to 4-year schools. Honors graduates’ achievements are reflected on their transcripts. The program is supported in part by the Henry M. Jackson Foundation.
