Entry Level Welder I-BEST

This program is offered spring and summer quarters.
New students can enroll for summer quarter!

This two-quarter I-BEST program prepares students for entry-level positions in welding. Students earn the Entry Level Welder certificate upon successful completion of both quarters.  Spring quarter includes  Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English Language Acquisition (ELA) class time focused on welding terminology and math plus I-BEST support for the OSHA 30 Safety class and Blueprint Reading; the summer class focuses on industrial safety and gas metal arc welding to build welding skills along with support for  ABE and ELA.

  • Gas Metal Arc Welding
  • Welding Skills Building
  • English Language Acquisition (ELA) and Adult Basic Education (ABE)
