Chelsea Rabourn

I created this painting over the course of three hours while the model posed in front of me, and it was my first experience working with acrylic paint. I had to work very fast to preserve as much time with the model as I could, so I used a scattered brush stroke and created the form from blasts of many short lines rather than concentrating on long and pristine looking line work. In this way, I hope I brought a sense of life and urgency to the painting even though the model's pose is rather refined.
