Academics - Suggested Changes
What we need to change:
- Consider funding needs for Running Start/Outreach in locations like Arlington
- Running start advisors are needed (like Whatcom, Highline)
- Consider funding needs for Advising/creating expanded Advising Center
- Advising requires IT/infrastructure and space needs for the advising center
- Guided Pathways needs money for training, in terms of advising along pathways: five new hires have been added for pathways advising
- More advisers are needed, with better advising stations offering privacy, along with after-hours appointments
- Onsite coordinator will be needed in Arlington; at some point, it will no longer be feasible to use CCEC staff for this job
