AMTEC

a 54,000 sq. ft. modern facility located at 909 N. Broadway in Everett, WA, that is operated by Everett Community College. AMTEC offers state-of-the-art training toward short, stackable certifications and certificates.

Capital Budgets - Biennial, Legislatively appointed funds for buildings/ infrastructure and physical plant needs

CCEC

Offers career training, professional development, personal interest, and small business acceleration classes.

COE

College in the High School - a program offering high school students in grades 10-12 the opportunity to earn both high school and college credit for advanced, college-level coursework offered right in their high school.

Completion - The current method of measuring community college performance—calculating the percentage of first-time, full-time students who attain a credential in three or four years—excludes outcomes for many community college students (Community College Research Center). Some colleges include transfers in completion total.  

EV Parking - Electric Vehicle parking stalls with charging stations

Free/Reduced Lunch - The National School Lunch Program is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children (who meet certain income-level requirements) each school day.

Full-Time Equivalency (FTE) – Number of full-time students on campus, calculated by the entire number of credit hours taken on campus divided by the number of enrolled students. Every 15 credits equals one FTE.

Guided Pathways - The Guided Pathways Initiative aims to reduce and simplify the number of choices about course selection a student must make, informing and supporting those choices, and directing students into an intentional, comprehensive program of study within one or two terms.

LEED - Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design

NACEP – The National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships. NACEP works to ensure that college courses taught by high school teachers are as rigorous as courses offered on the sponsoring college campus. As the sole national accrediting body for concurrent enrollment partnerships, NACEP helps these programs adhere to the highest standards.

Outreach - works with EvCC area K-12 schools and organizations by participating in college fairs, career days, college visits and offering general presentations. Helps to make students aware of credit opportunities available to them while they are still attending high school.

Running Start - a program that allows 11th and 12th grade students to take college courses at Washington's 34 community and technical colleges. Students earn both high school and college credits for these courses. Running Start students and their families do not pay tuition.

(SBCTC)  - The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges is led by a Governor-appointed board and provides leadership, advocacy, and coordination for Washington's system of 34 public community and technical colleges.

Space Management - Planned efficient use of all campus facilities and spaces

State Allocation - The distribution of state funds to community & technical colleges

Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) - a crucial element of planning for new growth at a university or college as it concerns both academic program growth and facilities’ needs. SEM focuses on what is best for students' success while increasing enrollment numbers and stabilizing institutional revenues.

Student Achievement Initiative (SAI) - Colleges earn achievement points, with funds attached, every time a student reaches a certain level of achievement. These levels of achievement are called momentum points because each achievement is likely to propel students to another achievement. SAI momentum points work in succession (SBCTC).
