I have been a licensed Instructor for 15 years working at EvCC School of Cosmetology since I was licensed. I started as an adjunct faculty, earned my senior associate, and was awarded tenure 3 years ago.

Why did you choose EvCC?

The amount of resources that were available to help students.

Why would you recommend EvCC's Cosmetology program to students?

I would recommend a student to EvCC School of Cosmetology because it is an ever-changing industry, giving you endless opportunities for growth in your technical skills and the services you can offer. It is a flexible career with options to be a business owner or an employee. Specifically, EvCC because we are student centered, value the students education by matching industry trends, and all instructors work behind the chair as well infusing real life experience into each class.

What advice would you give to students considering a career in Cosmetology?

This career is so much more than just working behind the chair.

What do you like to do for fun?

I love to travel, practice yoga, and learn new things.
