Everett Community College’s Office of Global Engagement and Social Justice is proud to welcome Charles Hobbs, J.D., a two-time Pulitzer Prize nominee and MSNBC contributor, as the featured speaker for our Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. webinar. Drawing on his work as a journalist, commentator, and storyteller, Hobbs will reflect on the enduring legacy of Dr. King through the theme, “Whatever affects one directly, happens to all indirectly,” exploring its relevance to today’s social and civic landscape. Students, faculty, staff, administration, and campus community are invited to attend in person on the first floor lounge of Parks Student Union or join virtually via Zoom on Thursday January 22 from 12:30–1:30 p.m.
