Students Against Human Trafficking: An Afternoon with David Zach

Hey Trojans! January is Human Trafficking Prevention Month, and in recognition, the Trojan Activity Board is proud to host an informative presentation and discussion on the realities of human trafficking on January 29, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the Jackson Conference Center, Room 101. This event is open to all EvCC students and faculty. Donuts and hot beverages will be available for EvCC students.

University Transfer Essay Workshop

Are you transferring soon? Come learn how to write a compelling personal statement for your university application. We will spend the first half of this one-hour workshop talking about what to include in your personal statement. In the second half, you will have an opportunity to talk one-on-one with a writing tutor about your essay. We will look specifically at the University of Washington's transfer essay prompts. 

Scholarship Workshop

Come learn how to write good essays for the Foundation Scholarship.  A strong essay can help you earn a scholarship for your education at EvCC. This workshop lasts for one hour. In the first half, we will talk about how to give compelling answers to the essay questions. In the second half, students will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with tutors.
