EvCC Athletics inks sponsorship deal with Nike and BSN Sports

EVERETT, Wash. – Everett Community College’s Athletics department has reached a three-year agreement with Nike Inc. and BSN SPORTS making Nike the official apparel partner of EvCC Trojan athletics.
BSN SPORTS and Nike will provide apparel, footwear and equipment for training and game-day uniforms for the Trojans’ 11 intercollegiate athletic teams. The deal is expected to save the athletic department an estimated $10,000 to $15,000 per year in apparel and equipment related costs.
“We are thrilled about this partnership with Nike and what it means to our department. Nike is a brand that provides top-of-the-line apparel in all of the sports that we offer and one that we are proud to co-brand with Trojan Athletics. After consulting with all of our coaches, and a number of student athletes, it became very clear that Nike was the top choice,” EvCC Director of Athletics Garet Studer said.
BSN SPORTS won the competitive bid process that began in January to be the exclusive provider of Nike apparel for EvCC teams.
Nike is the world’s largest supplier of athletic shoes and apparel and has a long history of partnering with some of the most prestigious collegiate institutions in the country. For half a century Nike has worked with athletic organizations and teams, providing student-athletes with cutting-edge performance apparel.
“We’re excited to be partnering with Nike because they consistently produce some of the best products on the market. Many of our athletes already choose to compete in Nike shoes,” said head Track and Field coach, Tansey Lystad.
Among other benefits there will also be exclusive branding and incentives through BSN and Nike.
