Light the Way

Think of a time someone helped you when you needed it most.

Maybe it was $20 for gas. Showing up with a bag of groceries. A hug at the end of a rough day.

Their kindness and generosity was a light shining out of darkness. The EvCC Foundation is inviting you to Light the Way with us and help EvCC students who are homeless or experiencing tough times.

We’re calling this effort Light the Way in honor of the street in front of the main entrance to EvCC’s campus being renamed Trojan Way.

We are working to raise $120,000 to house 10 homeless students in one of our student housing buildings along Trojan Way for two years and increase Foundation emergency funds.

How to Help

• EvCC employees can give via payroll deduction: Employees can make a one-time donation or donate each pay period. To start payroll deduction, fill out the payroll deduction authorization. If you are already donating to the Foundation via payroll deduction, thank you! You can increase your donation with the payroll authorization change form. After you complete your form, please send it to foundation@everettcc.edu. If you want to recognize an employee, please note that in your email. 
• Donate online: On the donation form, select Specific Programs and type in Light the Way. If you want to recognize an employee, note that person’s name too.
