Society of Women Engineers
About SWE
The Society of Women Engineers Club is for all STEM (science, tech, engineering, and math) students at EvCC. We are an official Collegiate Interest Group affiliated with the national SWE organization. SWE club is about education, mentoring, networking, and outreach. The club has field trips each year to local businesses and institutions to learn about careers. We organize events each quarter to provide professional skills and networking opportunities to EvCC STEM students. We also do outreach projects to local schools and organizations to increase K-12 students' interest in science and engineering.
Fall Quarter meetings are every other Monday at 3pm. We alternate between meeting in the Maker Space and gathering for a potluck. To get on our email list or volunteer for an event contact Kristine Washburn: kwashburn@everettcc.edu
