Use Your Apprenticeship Experience to Earn a Degree!
If you've completed an approved apprenticeship program affiliated with Everett Community College, you may be eligible to receive a Multi-Occupational Trades Associate in Technical Arts (ATA) degree with the completion of additional general education classes.
Program Eligibility
To be eligible for the degree, you must have completed an EvCC-affiliated apprenticeship program that includes:
- 450 or more classroom (RSI) hours
- 5,200 or more on-the-job training (OJT) hours

Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee (AJAC)
- Machinist
- Plastic Process Technician
- Industrial Maintenance Technician
Snohomish County PUD
- Lineman
- Meterman
- Utility Wireman
Washington State Fire Fighters JATC (WSFF JATC)
- Firefighter
Degree Requirements
Apprenticeship Completion (equivalent to 67 credits)
Completion of a qualifying apprenticeship counts as the technical body of the degree.
To verify your eligibility:
- Submit a copy of your Journey card with your graduation application
- Approval must be provided by staff in the Professional & Technical Education & Applied Sciences department

Important: Courses may only be used to satisfy one requirement. For example, CMST& 210 cannot count for both Communication and Human Relations.
