Chemistry and Math linked classes with extra support

Complete your chemistry and math requirements in linked classes that include extra academic support. Open to all students who meet the prerequisites. 

Students must register for both classes, which means you'll be learning with the same group of students in your math and chemistry classes. Your instructors will also be working together to help you. 

Chemistry, Statistics, and Support: A Winning Solution (10 credits total)

  • CHEM& 121 - Class Number 15187, 5 credits. Livestream (online with your instructor and class via video) 10 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. All live-streamed lectures are archived for later viewing. Lecture attendance is recommended but not required.
  • MATH& 146 - Class Number 16232, 5 credits. 8:50-9:50 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, in person at Monte Cristo Hall Room 209.

Designed for nursing students but open to all qualified students, this special I-BEST set of linked courses features extra support provided by an embedded faculty member with experience teaching math and chemistry. This class is open to students with placement into MATH 86; successful completion of MATH 86 is not required.
