CARE Team
Everett Community College is committed to promoting a supportive, safe, and engaging campus community. In response, it is the responsibility of each person within EvCC to join in supporting an environment that is positive for all community members. EvCC has a CARE team to help students that are experiencing challenges or exhibiting behavior that is raising concerns here at EvCC. If you are experiencing challenges or are concerned for another student who may have challenges, please submit a CARE Report. CARE Team Review Process
The CARE Team Chair reviews all incoming reports and forwards them to the CARE Team for review. The CARE Team meets weekly to discuss the cases, determine outreach and support measures, and who will manage the case. Outreach is typically sent through the communication channels (e-mail, phone call, or mail) that the student has on file. Outreach measures are not considered mandatory, but can helpful for you in navigating any challenges you are experiencing. Due to FERPA considerations, the reporter of the concern (if not the student of concern themselves) will typically not be notified of any progres or outcome due the privacy of this educational record. For any questions, please contact the CARE Team at care@everettcc.edu or the CARE Team Chair at 425-388-9258.
