Early Learning Center Family Experiences

"We love ELC not just because of the staff (who are incredible and reason enough) but because since my daughter started attending, she has learned so much so quickly. She barely talked when she started (age 2), now she can count to 20, do small addition problems, knows all the planets in the solar system and the names of the major dwarf planets. I think the most important and useful skills they are teaching her is learning emotional intelligence. This has had the unexpected result of helping her family at home. I can’t express how valuable and how helpful the staff here is. They become part of your family and you become part of theirs. ELC at EVCC is a real school, not a daycare."

"The Everett Community College Early Learning Center is a great place for your children to begin their life of learning.  As a parent with two children at the Early Learning Center, I know it is much more than just child care. Their early learning programming is the best I've encountered in the area (from doing research and shopping around), and I would bet, one of the best in the state. The staff is committed to the children with a specific focus on their healthy growth and development. Their child-centered, and guided, curriculum encourages the children to become a part of the learning process and teaches them to become advocates for their own learning interests. I would highly recommend and encourage anyone looking for top quality early learning to enroll their child at Everett Community College's Early Learning Center!"

"The EvCC Early Learning Center provides a great atmosphere and support for kids to learn the things they need at that age. My daughter's learned so much about identifying and managing her emotions, sharing, and interacting with other kids in addition to some basic academic concepts like writing and counting."
