The Place of Our Way is happy to invite you to talk about indigenous gardens!

Come sit and share ideas on how to rebuild our indigenous garden here on campus. Learn about indigenous methods of growing and maintaining gardens, native herbs, and foods of the Pacific Northwest, and enjoy snacks and drinks while talking to fellow students!

First celebrated in the United States in 1988, National Coming Out Day was initially grounded in the feminist and gay liberation spirit, and the emphasis on the most basic form of activism being coming out to family, friends, and colleagues, and living life openly as a gay, lesbian or transgender individual.

Orange Shirt Day

In observance of Orange Shirt Day, we invite everyone to drop by the Place of Our Way on September 30th, 3:30-7:30PM.  Come visit, screen print your own orange t-shirt and learn and reflect about our boarding school history.  Parks Student Union, PSU 258.  

Two-Spirit Movie Night

D&E Presents the critically acclaimed "Being Thunder".

Celebrate Indigenous pride with a showing of "Being Thunder" - a movie that explores what it means to be a queer Indigenous person in a world bound by binary gender roles.

The Place of Our Way is located in the left-hall from the front of the bookstore. Food & drink will be provided.

Facing Fentanyl Together Resource Fair

Everett Community College (EvCC) is hosting a free event to educate community members about fentanyl addiction prevention, harm reduction, treatment, recovery and community supports at a resource fair Sept. 20. 

Join us from 1-5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20 for one of 26 Facing Fentanyl Together events taking place across Washington at the same time. 

EvCC’s event will feature:

Offices closed for employee training

EvCC offices are closed all day Monday, Sept. 16 for employee training. That includes all Student Success offices such as Financial Aid and Enrollment Services, Entry Advising, Cashiers, Workforce Funding, Student LIFE, and Human Resources.

The EvCC bookstore, Buenos Diaz coffee, and some facilities in the Student Fitness Center are open.

The Diversity & Equity Center - Back to School 2024 events!

Join us on Wednesday, Sept. 25th from 11:00 - 12:00pm in the EvCC Parks Student Union Cafeteria for a concert featuring the Caribbean-American duo ABSTRCTN, alongside Boss Baby, and DJ Streets of Pitch Black Entertainment. Enjoy a blend of R&B and trap music with unforgettable vibes!

Fall Pathway Fair

The Everett Community College Pathways Fair is designed to allow students to explore their program options. Students can talk with program experts to learn what their pathway to the workforce could look like. Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace; Business; Healthcare; Social Science, Education and Public Safety; STEM, and some campus resources will be represented.
