A fantastic performance of Okinawan folk dancing and drumming performed by OKK Chijinshuu of Washington State and hosted by the EvCC Japanese Cultural Resource Center

Sushi Making Class

Join Mr. Asao Sakakibara and the EvCC Japanese Cultural Resource Center to learn how to make sushi. big roll, small roll, chirashi-zushi, and inari-zushi. You will also learn the importance of rice in making sushi, how to prepare toppings, how to prepare seasoning, and how to roll rice and ingredients with nori seaweed.

Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony

Enjoy the tranquility of a traditional Japanese tea demonstration in an authentic tea room! Hosted by the EvCC Japanese Cultural Resource Center. Guests will enjoy the unique opportunity to experience Japanese tea FOR FREE in the JCRC's beautiful tea room and garden. Sessions includes a traditional flute performance.

Come Stay Warm Monday-Thursday this January 27-30 with toasty drinks and comfy treats from EvCC"s Latine Student Union (LSU) and Muslim Student Association (MSA)!

Monday and Wednesday LSU will be selling hot chocolate and conchas (Mexican sweet bread) and Tuesday and Thursday MSA will be selling milk tea and biscoff cake pastry outside of Gray Wolf Hall. This is a cash only fundraiser to help raise money for bigger events in the future.
