The Trojan Women's Basketball Team opens their 2023 League season by hosting the Cardinals of Skagit Valley College on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

The game begins at 5:00pm in the Walt Price Student Fitness Center with the Men's game vs Skagit Valley to follow at 7:00pm.

Alice Kristiansen crafts beautiful, emotionally-charged music that creates a genuine connection with the listener. Armed with a dynamic voice, she is capable of a degree of honesty that places the listener right in every impassioned moment. 

After Ashton Kutcher posted one of her covers to Facebook, her fanbase grew to over 900 YouTube subscribers! Alice has recorded covers of our favorite songs by Taylor Swift, Harry Styles and Coldplay, to name a few. Recently, Blackbook Magazine wrote, “It was a bit like Lana Del Rey, but with 10x the fire!”

So sit back, enjoy some treats and transport into the wonderful world of Alice. We hope you can join the tea party at 1pm at Parks Cafe on Thursday, January 12th!

Club Council meetings are designed to allow clubs to network with other clubs, share ideas and information and plan the quarterly Club Fest. Your attendance at Club Council meetings will provide you with information about Club Fest, fundraising ideas, project proposals and funding subject to affirmative vote of the Council members (quorum), and policies and procedures. The ASB Vice President of Clubs organizes and chairs Club Council meetings. Join in person in Gray Wolf 166/168 from 1-2pm or virtually on Zoom.

On Saturday, January 14th, the Trojan Women's Basketball Team will travel to Bellingham, WA to play a league game with the Orcas of Whatcom Community College. The game will begin at 4:00pm. The Men's game will follow at 6:00pm.

Everett Community College is closed on Monday, January 16 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. EvCC will open again on Tuesday, January 17.

The Trojan Men's Basketball Team will travel to Shoreline, WA to play the Dolphins of Shoreline Community College. The league game will begin at 7:30pm, following the Women's game that begins at 5:30pm.

On Saturday, January 21st, the Trojan Men's Basketball Team will host the Bellevue College Bulldogs. The league game will begin at 4:00pm, following the Women's game that starts at 2:00pm. Both games will be played in the Walt Price Student Fitness Center.

The fray of Winter Quarter has started pouring, and it’s easy to lose sight of the rainbow awaiting at the end while in the midst of the downpour. It's important to take breaks and de-stress in order to have a fresh mind before charging back into the fray of studying! What better way to de-stress than painting! Painting can soothe the soul and nothing is more satisfying than seeing an idea come to life at the end of the creative process.

So come join us as the Trojan Activities Board (TAB) presents our first de-stress event of the year, Back from Break & Brushes! TAB is planning to host a variety of events throughout the year, where students can learn, make new friends and have fun! Back from Break & Brushes is no exception!

Come grab a canvas and a brush and let's see what you can create! TAB will provide free painting supplies such as acrylic paints, canvases, paint brushes, mini easels, and transfer paper for tracing! Free snacks and drinks will also be provided at the event!

The event will be hosted in the Parks Student Union cafeteria on Wednesday, January 25th from 12 to 3 pm. So bring a friend or two, and relax with us by making some fantastic paintings!

Learn more about the Ocean Research College Academy at the upcoming information session on Thursday, January 26 at 6pm. High school students can earn up to two years of tuition-free college.
General information will be presented in the Blue Heron Room starting at 6pm. Following this presentation, visitors will be invited to

• tour the ORCA classrooms and laboratory
• meet current students and ask questions
• learn about research opportunities
• meet faculty and ask questions

Open to all EvCC students, The Associated Student Body (ASB) Senate Meetings are held in Gray Wolf Hall, Room 166/168 and virtually from 2:30-4:30pm. The ASB Senate meets to discuss student issues and concerns at both the college and state level, as well as conduct business which includes the student budget proposals, reports on the college and Senate committee work, and provide feedback to the College Administration. Come provide input, share concerns, and gain valuable leadership skills, while enhancing your resume, college and scholarship applications.

If you would like to become an ASB Student Senator, you must meet the minimum requirements & complete the "self-elect" process:

• Currently enrolled EvCC student
• Maintain a minimum of five credits
• Maintain a quarterly/cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
• Complete the ASB Student Senate "self elect" process.
