Teacher and Faculty Information
Teach a college-level course, set higher standards for students, and help to prepare students for higher education. Each high school teacher is sponsored by an Everett Community College (EvCC) faculty member who can assist in curriculum development and provide valuable supplemental materials and teaching methodology.
Become a CiHS Teacher
1. Check the College in the High School Course List
The CiHS Course List includes all the courses EvCC currently offers for College in the High School credit. If you have a class you are interested in offering as CiHS credit, but do not see the course on this list please reach out to us as hspartnerships@everettcc.edu
2. Check Qualifications
A high school teacher interested in teaching as a CiHS teacher must meet the same minimum qualifications as an EvCC part-time faculty member. Teachers must meet qualifications for each class. Look over our minimum part-time faculty qualifications
for qualifications for each subject.
3. Submit the CiHS New Teacher/Class Request Form
If you believe you meet qualifications, please submit the CiHS New Teacher/Class Request form.
You will need to submit one form for each high school class you are requesting.
4. Follow the Application Packet guidelines outlined in our Application Process.
We are currently accepting new CiHS teacher applications for the 2026-27 school year.
