EvCC, Western Washington University launch guaranteed transfer admission program

Everett Community College students now have a clear, guaranteed path to earning their bachelor’s degree at Western Washington University thanks to a new guaranteed transfer admission program announced today by the two institutions. The new agreement ensures that EvCC students who complete an eligible associate degree and meet academic requirements will be guaranteed admission to Western, one of Washington's top public universities.

AMTEC team competes in “Clash of Trades” national championship 

Three Everett Community College students competed in the 2025 National Clash of Trades Championship in June at the Advanced Manufacturing Facility at Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville, Illinois. Students can turn job training into college credit through new community partnerships

Everett Community College (EvCC) is expanding access to college credit for adult learners through new partnerships with three local community organizations: Snohomish County Evergreen Goodwill Job Training and Education Center (SnoCo JTEC), the Latino Educational Training Institute (LETI) and Volunteers of American Western Washington (VOA). 

Everett Community College Honors Outstanding Employees

At Everett Community College’s annual Spring Awards celebration on May 29, 16 employees were honored with awards, and 111 employees were recognized for reaching years-of-service milestones.  Employees were honored in several categories: the George Shuh Awards, which recognize an outstanding faculty member, staff member and exempt administrator, and the Exceptional Faculty, Diversity and Inclusion, Emerging Classified Staff, Distinguished Classified Staff, Extra Effort and You Made a Difference awards. 

Everett Community College Celebrates 2025 Graduates

Everett Community College celebrated the achievements of the class of 2025 during the annual commencement ceremony on Sunday, June 8, at the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett. About 2,000 students graduated from Everett Community College with a degree or certificate in 2024-25, including EvCC’s first-ever bachelor’s degree students. EvCC Recognizes 2025 Honors Graduates

EVERETT, Wash. — Everett Community College recognized its 2025 Honors Program graduates as they presented their final capstone projects during the college’s annual Honors Forum on June 3. The 2025 honors graduates were Taylor Bisset, Addison Buell, Moss Martin, Justin Nordin, Phillip Patzer, Keegan Raub and Tavish Raub.

EvCC students honored by board of trustees for statewide awards

The Everett Community College (EvCC) board of trustees honored five students who recently received statewide honors at their regular meeting May 20.  Students Dafne Pinon Guzman and Euncho Seo were named President’s Student Civic Leadership Award winners March 28 at a ceremony in Seattle. Students Lexi Molineux, Aristotle Ronyak and Stevie Stout were honored April 24 at a ceremony in Lacey as members of the 2025 All-Washington Academic Team. 

EvCC Foundation Breakfast Raises $94,500 to Support Student Scholarships, College Programs

Everett Community College raised more than $94,500  at its annual “Looking to the Future” Foundation Benefit Breakfast on April 22, rallying over 250 community members in support of student scholarships, emergency funding and college programs.

Gov. Inslee appoints Joe M. Davis II to Everett Community College’s Board of Trustees

Washington state Gov. Jay Inslee has appointed Joe M. Davis II to Everett Community College’s Board of Trustees. Davis, a decorated U.S. Army veteran, Deputy Sheriff with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, and first-generation college graduate, brings a wealth of experience in public service and community engagement to the role.

Oberlin University, Ms. Mari Maruyama, the Executive Director of the Obirin-Gakuen Foundation of America, and Mr. Takeru Terasawa from the Office of the JFOU President for a visit to its main campus and the Aviation Maintenance Technology facilities on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025. The visit underscored the long-standing partnership between EvCC and JFOU, emphasizing their shared dedication to global education and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
