Our 8-quarter curriculum consists of 2,040 hours of instruction in over 40 subject areas, with work being done on a variety of fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Students learn to maintain both reciprocating and turbine engines, repairing systems and components. 60% of the students learning time is spent in a laboratory environment. Degree programs are available for students who desire to combine their technical training with academic classes. All interested students must attend an information session.
We work in partnership with industry through our advisory committee, the government through the FAA, and other aviation programs throughout the country to continuously improve our programs.
Collegewide, students work to achieve the Everett Community College Core Learning Outcomes. All Workforce Training Programs prepare students to be job ready: technically competent, ethically grounded, and skilled in collaboration and workplace norms. Students in Aviation work toward these Program Outcomes.
