Advising for Current Students
Meet with your faculty program advisor to check in and stay on track for degree completion. Program Advisors are here to help you plan your next quarter's classes and beyond.
Look up your program advisor by logging into Starfish and clicking on "My Success Network." Contact a program advisor through Starfish or by using the faculty directory. If you do not find a program advisor in your network email advising@everettcc.edu.
Your program advisor can help you:
- Create a quarter-by-quarter plan for the degree or certificate you wish to complete
- Talk about your major and career possibilities
- Select classes
- Stay on track to graduate!
If you are considering changing your program, you can explore your options using the Career Coach site and scheduling a career counseling appointment through our Counseling and Student Success.
Academic Planning
Creating an academic plan is essential for achieving your educational goals, as it outlines the courses needed to complete your degree or certificate—saving you time and money by focusing only on required classes. Tools in both ctcLink and Starfish can help you plan effectively:
- Starfish Degree Planner lets you map out your courses.
- ctcLink’s Academic Requirements Report shows your completed and remaining requirements and is also used by staff to evaluate credits and award aid.
Make sure your academic plan matches in both systems to stay on track.
