Japanese Anime and Manga Arts Festival

Join us for the third annual Japanese Anime & Manga Arts Festival (JAMAF) on Friday May 19th and Saturday May 20th at Everett Community College.  This year we celebrate both the college’s 75th anniversary and the Nippon Business Institutes 30th anniversary.  Support generously provided by the City of Everett Cultural Arts Commission, the EvCC Foundation, and EvCC's Student LIFE Department.

JAMAF offers a unique opportunity for exploration of Japanese culture and arts here in Everett. JAMAF supports global initiatives at EvCC by engaging the community in academically grounded programming that invites reflection and dialogue around global perspectives and intercultural exchange.

Free parking for JAMAF guests in arranged lots.  Please read on for further instructions. 

  • IMPORTANT – Do not park in the stalls marked visitor parking.  They are reserved for special EvCC business and require payment.
  • See the EvCC parking map for more information on all lots.
  • See the EvCC campus map for directions.

Friday May 19th – Before 3:00 PM
Lot C is reserved for JAMAF guests before 3:00 PM on Friday, May 19th.  This lot is directly adjacent to the Nippon Business Institute where all programming is being held prior to 3:00 PM.  There will be signs guiding you to this lot on Friday morning.  See the links above for directions and a map of campus lots, including Lot C.

Friday May 19th – After 3:00 PM
After 3:00 PM there will be a break in programming until 5:30 PM, when doors open for the film screening at the Jackson Center auditorium.  There will be signs guiding JAMAF guests to Lot D, which is closest to Jackson Center and is ADA accessible.  See the links above for directions and a map of all campus lots, including Lot D.

Saturday, May 20th – All Day
All unmarked stalls are free and open to JAMAF guests on Saturday, May 20th.  Lot D is closest to the main stage in Jackson Center and is ADA accessible.  There will be signs guiding you to this lot.  See the links above for directions and a map of all campus lots, including Lot D.

A BECU ATM is located in the Parks Student Union building directly adjacent to the Bookstore.

Baby Changing Stations
Nippon Business Institute – located in the women’s restroom.
Parks Student Union - located in the hall across from the bookstore by the gender-neutral bathroom.
Gray Wolf Hall - 1st floor of Gray Wolf Hall in the gender-neutral bathroom across from room 156.
