What happens if you lost or never received your financial aid check?
Lost Financial Aid Check Instructions:
If it has been 5 business days since your Financial Aid disbursement was sent and you have not received your check, please follow the steps below:
1. Verify through the Financial Aid Portal at http://www.everettcc.edu/students/financial/financial-aid-portal/ that a check was disbursed and it has been 5 business days.
2. Send an email to lostcheck@everettcc.edu that includes your:
a.NAME
b.SID NUMBER
c.CURRENT ADDRESS
d.PHONE NUMBER
3. Verify your address in the EVCC student kiosk at https://www.everettcc.edu/myevcc/index.cfm under “address change”.
4. If you have not received a response from the Business Office within 2 business days after sending an email to lostcheck@everettcc.edu, call the Disbursement Hotline at 425-388-9386. Please note this number can only answer questions if a disbursement has been made. For Financial Aid questions, contact the Financial Aid Office at 425-388-9280 or email fin_aid@everettcc.edu.
