EVERETT, Wash. – Everett Community College will welcome Brandon Dyer as vice president of strategic enrollment management and student success on March 18.

Dyer was hired after a national search and a visit to campus that included campus forums. He will lead the college’s strategic enrollment management and student success functions, including student outreach, high school and dual credit programs, admissions, registration and records, financial aid, workforce funding, student disability services, student life, student housing and athletics.

The role is key to advancing the college’s goal of eliminating gaps in graduation and transfer rates.

“I am deeply passionate about ensuring equitable access to education for all students, irrespective of their backgrounds,” he said. “I firmly believe that education access is a fundamental right that everyone should have equitable opportunities to pursue.”

Dyer has 15 years of experience in counseling, student development, enrollment management and student success, most recently in the North Carolina Community College System, where he spearheaded initiatives that significantly impacted enrollment and students’ sense of belonging.

Dyer earned a master’s degree in professional counseling and is completing his doctorate in community college leadership at Old Dominion University. He is a licensed clinical mental health counselor in North Carolina.
