You may experience delays due to road construction when traveling near EvCC during the rest of May.

Beginning May 8, the northbound SR 529 Snohomish River Bridge between north Everett and Marysville will be reduced to one lane, 24 hours a day, through May 28, with the exception of May 10-13, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (DOT).

Northbound I-5 will be reduced to one lane from 9 p.m. Friday, May 10 to 6 a.m. Monday, May 13 for construction from Pacific Avenue to the Snohomish River Bridge. The off-ramps to Pacific Avenue and Marine View Drive as well as the on-ramps from Everett Avenue and westbound U.S. 2 will be closed during these hours.

The work is weather dependent.

These closures are part of large projects to repair the bridges on SR 529 and improve traffic between Everett and Marysville. There will be many temporary road closures through 2025, and we will make every effort to receive timely details from DOT and share them with you.
