Meet the Staff of Student Activities

Jennifer Rhodes

Director of Student Activities

Jennifer Rhodes, the Director of Student Activities, is responsible for the overall operation of Student Activities, Programs and Services, which includes Student Government, Student Programs Board, Publicity Services, The Paperclip, Student Activities Office management, clubs and organizations.

Jennifer is the direct advisor for the ASB Student Government: ASB Student Senate and Executive Council. She is also responsible for the development, expenditures and revenues for the Services and Activities (S & A) Fees Budget in compliance with the ASB Financial Code and E-Tech budget development in compliance with the E-Tech Financial Code.

Jennifer has fourteen years professional experience in Student Services. This includes twelve years experience in Student Activities and Programs, one year in Counseling and Advising at Everett Community College, and one year of experience in Admissions/Counseling & Advising at Edmonds Community College.

Lindsay Hudson

Program Manager/Advisor 
Parks Student Union, Room 211

Lindsay is responsible for program and event development in Student Activities, as well as overseeing the management of The Paperclip and the day-to-day management of the S& A Fees Budgets.

As Student Programs Board Advisor, Lindsay advises, supervises, and directs the work of six board members in programming concerts, fine arts, special events, health/wellness topics and programs, Brown Bag lecture series, Artist & Lecture Series, The Paperclip, and recreation programs.

Lindsay also advises, supervises and directs the operation and approximately 10-12 student staff of the Paperclip, located in the heart of the Parks Student Union. The Paperclip provides referral services, student and staff photo ID, fax service, and short term use computer stations..

Lindsay also manages, monitors, maintains and initiates corrective action for the S & A Fees Budgets (approx. 80 budgets). Working closely with the Director of Student Activities, Lindsay makes recommendations regarding the authorization of expenses and revenue collection, works closely with the college's Administrative Services (business office) and is a key resource person for the S & A Fees Budget Committee.

Lindsay has seven years professional experience in Student Services. This includes four years experience in the Center for Disability Services at EvCC and three years in the Disability Services Office at Shoreline Community College.

Brittany Padgett

Program Support Supervisor/Advisor
Parks Student Union, Room 212

The Program Support Supervisor is responsible for the office management of Student Activities Office. This responsibility includes advising, supervising, and directing the work of the Student Activities Student Ambassadors who not only serve the students and staff at the Student Activities Office front desk but also provide campus tours, serve as EvCC representatives and perform duties at various EvCC campus and community events.

As the Club Resource Coordinator, this position coordinates the 30+ chartered EvCC Clubs and Organizations, which includes providing club orientations to student club members and faculty advisors, advising on state policies and procedures, event programming, budgeting of club funds, club travel/purchasing and acts as co-advisor at Club Council meetings.
