Developing the Manufacturing Pipeline

The Advanced Manufacturing Training and Education Center (AMTEC) connects college students with more than 200 manufacturing industry employers through on-site visits, collaborative projects, and placement for internships and jobs. Industry partners have donated a full range of materials and equipment for students to experience real-world, applicable skills training. 

AMTEC also participates in regular outreach opportunities to develop future talent, including:

• Hosting National Manufacturing Day tours and activities
• Hosting Try-a-Trade events
• Hosting and attending career fairs
• Hosting facility tours
• School visits and presentations
• Youth organization visits and presentations
