English Classes (ELA/ESL)

Starting Spring 2022, the TS/ELA class fee will return to $25 per quarter. Here at Everett Community College we will be offering Face to Face and Live Stream classes. Please contact transitional@everettcc.edu if you have any questions or call (425) 388-9291 for more information.

Youth Re-Engagement Program (U3)

U3 is a dual credit program for youth age 16-21 who have dropped out of high school. U3 provides an opportunity for youth to earn a college degree and a high school diploma for free!

GED

Transitional Studies offers a wide range of English, Reading, and Math courses that can all serve students who are preparing for the GED test. We do highly recommend that students considering taking the GED look into our HS  21+ program for an alternative method that will provide additional support and a High School Diploma. Students may also take a direct GED prep courses at one our amazing off campus locations. We offer direct GED classes at Tulalip Tribes and Spanish GED at EVCC main campus.

GED in Español

Estas clases preparan al estudiante para tomar la versión en Español del examen de GED. El diploma GED es equivalente al diploma escolar al nivel High School de los Estados Unidos. Las clases, los libros de texto y todos los exámenes del programa son en español! High School Completion (HSC)

Students who are not 21+ may still complete their High School Diploma through our High School Completion program. After a transcript evaluation with an adviser, students can determine how many credits they will need and could even take college courses to start working on their college degree! Students who are 16 – 19 years old in this program will be required to pay the standard college tuition rate. Students who are 19 or older may be eligible for a reduce rate.

Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training (I-BEST)

Is a great on ramp to college program that gets students in college level classes, working towards specific certificates or college degrees. Challenging the narrative that you need to have a GED or High School diploma to start working on your college degree, I-Best students can begin without a GED/Diploma and can earn that while attending college classes! Whether you are just starting or have been here attending classes, the I-BEST program could be the right fit for you! College Success 101

College success classes are mandatory 2 credit classes that all students must take when beginning their college level work. This comprehensive course gives students the skills and feedback to be a successful college student. From learning how to make an academic plan to learning vital study skills for examines, this class is made for you!

Study Online

Currently we are offering Face to Face and Live Stream classes for Summer and Fall quarter.
