Artist: James Madison

Location: Shuksan Hall - main entry, 2nd floor

Born into a family of Coast Salish and Tlingit heritage, James Madison began carving at the age of eight. His work reflects the traditional arts of his people in a contemporary context.

Related Information: This piece was first provided to EvCC as part of the Loaned Works program and was subsequently purchased with funding from the Art Collections Committee and the Associated Student Body.
