TEA Program and Services
The Program objective is to increase the number of teachers of color in local K-12 school districts. The program targets low-income and minority students living in Everett, Marysville and Monroe who aspire to become teachers. TEA Program services include:
- Outreach
- Advocacy
- Mentoring
- Career, academic, and transfer advising
- Assistance w/financial and/or scholarship
- Orientation
- University tours
- Peer support
- Social justice and diversity seminars
- End of year celebration
