Voices of EvCC - Ed Morrow

Ed Morrow with Key Ed Morrow attended Everett Junior College when it was located in downtown Everett. Selected as a Top 20 Graduate of the college, Ed is a retired elementary school teacher and principal, city council member, port commissioner, and champion of the city of Everett.

When he first started attending Everett Junior College, Ed Morrow thought he wanted to be a dentist. After his first science class, Ed quickly realized that he wasn’t dentist material. Recognizing an aptitude for helping people, Ed decided to become a teacher and started his teaching career at Whittier Elementary, located next to the site that would become the current location of Everett Community College.

After retiring as a teacher and principal, Ed started a second career as an elected official.  Ed shares his thoughts on the value of the education he received at the college, those that inspired him, and the many opportunities afforded to him. Listen to that story (1.24). Audio Icon
