You're invited to join Writing Club! The Writing Club is a safe place for EvCC students interested in writing, regardless of skill level or genre, to work on their writing and meet like minded students. All that's required is that you write or wish to write!

Writing Prompt
Imagine a character in a difficult or frightening situation. Write a passage beginning with the character’s action, then show us the scene through the character’s eyes. Use no “filters.” 

Looking to strengthen your writing? The Writing Club is a place for serious writers to convene for encouragement and critique. Writers of fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry are welcome. Writers meet weekly to write and to promote awareness, understanding, and discussion of the various literary genres. Members are also involved in a variety of campus activities related to the literary arts.

Students for Environmental Action (SEA) Club meets every Tuesday, in person or online. SEA Club is all about promoting environmental awareness and having fun while learning about current sustainability initiatives. Open to all EvCC students, The Associated Student Body (ASB) Senate Meetings are held in Jackson Center, Room 106 and virtually from 2:30-4:30pm. The ASB Senate meets to discuss student issues and concerns at both the college and state level, as well as conduct business which includes the student budget proposals, reports on the college and Senate committee work, and provide feedback to the College Administration. Come provide input, share concerns, and gain valuable leadership skills, while enhancing your resume, college and scholarship applications.

If you would like to become an ASB Student Senator, you must meet the minimum requirements & complete the "self-elect" process:

• Currently enrolled EvCC student
• Maintain a minimum of five credits
• Maintain a quarterly/cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
• Complete the ASB Student Senate "self elect" process.

Science, Tech, Engineering, Math (STEM) Club is open to all EvCC students regardless of major or background and meets the second and fourth Tueday of each month during winter quarter (not including breaks or holidays).

Come learn about engineering and computer science. Work on projects in team environment that combines engineering, technology and the arts.
