CHS Dates and Deadlines

Students interested in seeking to earn college credit through an EvCC College in the High School (CHS) class are responsible for officially applying and registering with EvCC. Students are required to register on or before the registration deadline for each corresponding class. Registration for college credit occurs at the beginning of the college course or content. 

Note that retroactive registration, which is students registering for college credit after the college course is over, is prohibited by our NACEP accreditation, college, and State Board for Community and Technical College (SBCTC) policies. Late registration is also not allowed by the EvCC CHS program.

First Semester and Year-Long Classes (Winter 2024)

Apply to EvCC by:  December 8, 2023 (Do not re-apply if you have a ctcLink ID number. Applications not received by the deadline are not guaranteed to be processed before the registration deadline date)

First day to register for CHS classes: November 20, 2023

Last day to pay for CHS classes (private high schools only): December 5, 2023, 11:59 p.m. (tuition for classes registered for after this date will be due within two business days)

Last day to register for classes: January 1, 2024, 11:59 p.m.

Drop Deadlines (Private high school students must review the refund deadlines):
Last day to drop a class with 100% refund - January 9, 2024, 11:59 p.m. 

Last day to drop a class without a record on your transcript - January 16, 2024, 11:59 p.m.

Last day to drop a class with a 50% refund and a "W" on your transcript - January 21, 2024, 11:59 p.m.

Last day to drop classes with no refund and “W” on your transcript - February 23, 2024, 11:59 p.m.

First Semester Grades Posted: March 20, 2024

Second Semester Classes (Spring 2024)

Last day to pay for CHS classes (private high schools only): March 5, 2024, 11:59 p.m. (tuition for classes registered for after this date will be due within two business days)

Last day to register for classes: April 12, 2024, 11:59 p.m.
