CHS Class Fee

Starting in the 2023-2024 school year, College in the High School classes will be free for students attending a public high school. Students will need to complete registration to earn credit and have their tuition paid. Fees will not be covered for students who attend a private high school.

The cost for one (1) credit is $44. A five (5) credit course is $220. Most CHS courses are five (5) credits.

The tuition cost for an equivalent course taken at EvCC can be as much as $631.80 and that does not include the cost of textbooks, parking, and other fees.

Courses at the high school may be 5 credits for the full year's coursework or maybe 5 credits for each semester at the high school. The high school teacher can explain the course term. Full-year classes require the student to complete the full year in order to earn credit. If the student does not complete the full year they will not earn any credit - partial credit is not awarded.
