COVID-19 and Returning to Campus

Updated June 28, 2023

A critical priority for the college is ensuring EvCC's students and employees work and learn in a healthy and safe environment.

Please continue to take personal health precautions such as regularly washing your hands, utilizing COVID testing, staying home if you are sick, and reporting COVID positive results through the EvCC Healthline at evcchealth@everettcc.edu.

Vaccines

We encourage students and employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and receive boosters to reduce the chance of infection and serious illness. EvCC does not require students to attest their vaccination status or require faculty and staff to be vaccinated.

Students, faculty, and staff who are working in healthcare settings, such as clinical sites, may be required to be vaccinated.

Masks

Masks are optional and welcomed on campus. People may want to continue to wear a mask for added protection against COVID-19, especially those who are immunocompromised, living with someone immunocompromised, or who may just feel safer wearing a mask. Everyone should assess their own personal risk when making this decision.

Students, faculty, and staff who are working in healthcare settings, such as clinical sites, may be required to wear masks. Patients at Community Health Center of Snohomish County's clinic located in EvCC's Liberty Hall are encouraged to wear masks and may be required to wear masks in some situations.

We ask everyone to be respectful of the individual needs of students, faculty, and staff. Please do not make assumptions regarding someone’s beliefs or health status, or comment about anyone’s decision to wear a mask or not.

EvCC will continue to provide masking and sanitation stations at key high traffic areas across the college.

Testing
