David Owens

David Owens is the Instructional Designer at Everett Community College. Before coming here, they taught at Walla Walla Community College in the Humanities as adjunct, then non-tenured full-time faculty and chair of the division for a total of 16 years. David has been involved in distance learning since 2001 as an instructor at Big Bend Community College and has worked with at least four learning management systems. David is interested in increasing equity, inclusion, and accessibility in all areas of the college but especially in online instruction.
