Welcome to Counseling & Student Success

The Everett Community College Counseling & Student Success (CSS) offers appointments for currently enrolled students with professional counselors for Academic/Educational Counseling, Career Counseling, and free short-term Personal Counseling, as well as referral to community resources to help students adjust to, cope with, and succeed in college. We also offer appointments for returning students for Academic/Educational Counseling.

CSS counselors are experienced and trained professionals that provide short term holistic counseling. Counselors also teach Human Development courses on a broad range of topics including: Career & Life Planning, Stress Management, and Human Relations in the Workplace.

CSS counselors are a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate or Licensed Psychologist.  Sessions are confidential with the following exceptions: Personal files are released from this office only with your consent or under certain circumstances outlined in the RCW 18.19.180, Washington State’s legislation governing confidential communications.
