How does a student apply for housing?

We'd love for you to join our community! Our application can be filled out and submitted entirely online. 

Who is eligible to live in student housing?

Any registered Everett Community College student who is 18 at the time of move-in is eligble to live in student housing. Unfortunately we are not able to offer housing to those with pets, childen, or families.

How many total spaces are available in student housing?

We currently have space for a total of 36 students. Our spaces tend to fill up quickly, so it is important to apply early!

Only 36 spaces? That's pretty small. Do you ever plan to expand?

Yes! Building new student housing is a priority for the college. We are hoping to be able to expand soon!

Is student housing only available to international students and athletes?

No! Anyone can apply to live in student housing. Currently, about half of our students are from other countries such as Japan, China, Korea, and Hong Kong. However, we even have students who apply that live as close as Marysville and Lake Stevens.

Can I tour an apartment before I move in?

If we have a vacant apartment, absolutely! To schedule a tour, email We value the privacy of our residents, so if all of our units are occupied we will not be able to offer you a tour. In the meantime, take a look at our apartment photos.

How much does it cost to live on campus?

Our rates are among the lowest of community colleges that offer student housing in the state of Washington. Our rates include a fully furnished apartment as well as all utilities, wireless internet, and parking. 

Can I use my financial aid to pay for housing?

Yes! Please contact the Financial Aid Office to discuss with them your financial aid award and confirm that it can be applied towards student housing costs. 

How are housing assignments made for new students?

Housing assignments are made on a first come, first served basis. Depending on space availabilty, we make every effort to assign you with a compatible roommate based on the roommate questionnare you completed as a part of your application. Students also have the opportunity to choose their roommate, but it must be a mutual request.
