$5,000 Scholarship - Washington State Fair Foundation
The Washington State Fair Foundation awards one $5,000 scholarship to a high school senior or adult learner who is a resident of Washington and seeking an education/career in law enforcement. This education/career may include, police, sheriff, state patrol, game warden, corrections officer etc. You have received this email in hopes that you would be able to spread the word that this scholarship is available. I have attached the criteria for this scholarship which includes a link to our webpage. The scholarship application will open on December 1, 2023 and close on January 31, 2024.

Juvenile Detention Officers, Temporary
Snohomish County Superior Court Juvenile Detention

To alleviate some of the pressure of mandatory overtime in detention, Superior Court is recruiting for temporary Juvenile Detention Officers. The individuals hired for this role will receive on-the-job training. They will be available to cover shifts when JDOs are away, and no one is available or interested in working overtime. (Current JDOs will have the opportunity for overtime; these individuals will be engaged only if no one volunteers for overtime.)
