Finding Digital Textbooks
If you need your textbooks, check to see if the textbook in the bookstore offers a digital version. You can also purchase digital versions of textbooks online.
Additional Assistance Finding Textbooks
If your textbook is not available digitally, we can obtain digital versions for you. It can take up to 2 weeks for us to obtain a digital book version, so please get your information in early.
We obtain digital formats directly from the publishers, and they require that we have proof of possession for the book. Please email proof of possession (purchase or rental) to cds@everettcc.edu. This can be an Order Confirmation or Receipt.
When your textbook is ready to download in AccessPortal, you will receive a notification in your Student email. Make sure you are signed into your student email in Gmail before attempting to download the book.
Text-To-Speech (TTS) Applications
There are also some Chrome Extensions that will read websites, such as ReadAloud (Chrome Web Store) 
but you can scroll to the bottom of that link and find several others as well.
There is also an app called Speechify , which lets you take a picture of a document with your phone and then it will read the information to you.
