Parking Permits Required at EvCC

Parking permits are required for everyone parking at EvCC year-round, and there is no assigned parking. This includes students taking classes and labs on campus, employees working on campus, visitors, and those in student housing. A current parking permit must be displayed while parked in campus lots at all times either hanging from the mirror face out or on the dashboard face up in front of the steering. Permits must be completely visible for enforcement to determine current quarter and status is being displayed to avoid being cited.

How to Get Your Quarterly Parking Permit

1. Register for class.

After registering for at least one class (not on the waitlist), you’ll be able to purchase your permit the next business day.

2. Register your vehicle online.

Go to www.permitsales.net/evcc and enter the username and password that you use for Canvas and campus computers. Forgot your password? Reset yours here. Enter your vehicle information and mailing address where your permit will be sent. For payment options, choose cash, check, or other (if paying online with debit or credit card). Wait two business days before proceeding to step 3.

3. Pay online or in person.

Charges will be posted to your ctcLink account two business days after you complete step 2.

  • To pay online with a debit or credit card, use this guide.
  • To pay in person with cash, check or voucher from a third-party agency, go to the Cashiers Office in Parks Student Union, room 201, during business hours; check in at least 30 minutes before the office closes. When you get there, check in at the cashiers kiosk and select Other, then Other again.

4. Get your temporary permit.

  • If you paid online via ctcLink, your temporary permit will be emailed to you.
  • If you paid in person, take your receipt to the Security Office. From the Cashiers Office, take a left, take the next right, go past the coffee stand and out the exterior door, turn to your right, and enter the Security door labeled Parks 226. Show your receipt, and a Security staff member will print you a temporary permit. Put it on your dashboard in front of your steering wheel.

5. Display your permanent parking permit in your vehicle.

You will receive your permanent parking pass in two to three weeks in the mail. Display it in your vehicle and recycle your temporary permit. If you do not receive your permit two weeks after you paid, contact the Security Office at oasecurity@everettcc.edu or 425-388-9990.

There is a one-week grace period from the start of the EvCC quarter. The grace period is only for obtaining a current permit. There is NO grace period after the second week of the quarter, during finals week, breaks, weekends or holiday closures.

Parking enforcement is set by the Washington Administrative Code; continues through the entire year with the exception of the first week of instruction for each quarter. Obtain your parking permit during the first week to avoid receiving a parking infraction on the first day of the second week. Avoid a ticket by displaying your parking permit between quarters from the preceding or upcoming quarter.
