Next Steps After High School

complete your degree at everett community college

Are you interested in completing your college degree at EvCC? You can use your earned college credit from the College in the High School (CHS) program to continue your education at EvCC. Recent high school graduates that participated in the CHS program while in high school need to complete the following forms in order to have their EvCC student account updated by Enrollment Services staff. Please do not re-apply to the college.

  • Complete the Continuing at EvCC  (after College in the High School)   Google form. This form will help update your residency for tuition purposes and help update your intended academic or technical program.

If you have questions regarding your form submissions, please contact Enrollment Services at registration@everettcc.edu

As a post-high school student, you are required to complete the enrollment process as outlined on our Get Started checklist.

EvCC College in the High School Scholarship

Former EvCC CHS students who have graduated from high school and will be attending EvCC may be eligible for this scholarship. To be eligible students must meet the following requirements:

  • Must have received the CHS fee waiver funds as high school senior.
  • Enroll at EvCC within one academic year of high school graduation. For example, if you graduate in June 2023, you have to enroll at EvCC no later than the Spring 2024 quarter to use the scholarship.
  • Complete a financial aid application (FAFSA or WASFA) during your senior year of high school and demonstrate financial need as determined by the EvCC Financial Aid Department.
  • Enroll in a minimum of 3 credits at EvCC.

Based on meeting the requirements and results of completed financial aid documents, students may be awarded up to three quarters.

Transferring your College Credits

Depending on the institution and the program that you pursue, credits may transfer to other colleges as direct equivalents, as general electives, or to satisfy a prerequisite for a required course. If you are planning to attend a private college or university, you should speak to that college/university’s admissions office to clarify whether your transfer credits will be accepted.
